Counselling and Psychotherapy in St Albans
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I am still only seeing my clients online. I am hoping that will change in the coming weeks but that will depend on government guidelines.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist working in St Albans, Hertfordshire. I work with both individual clients and couples. I am also a trained supervisor. To see my fees and other frequently asked questions visit my FAQ page.
Counselling and psychotherapy provide a safe place in which to tell your story, to explore the things that you are finding difficult at the moment, and where some of the suffering of life can be spoken about quietly, with dignity and treated with respect. As your story unfolds, you will develop an awareness of the influences in your life and perhaps an insight into your current struggles. It may feel a difficult step to take and so I would encourage an initial session to see how it feels to possibly work together and explore what best supports you before any further decision is made.
I offer Couples Therapy in St Albans to support couples who are either struggling with their relationship or want to help address a particular issue that has arisen. Typically, difficulties are in areas such as poor communication, betrayal, money, sex, bereavement or a loss of trust.
I offer supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists, either on an individual basis or in small groups.
My counselling rooms are a short walk from the centre of St Albans which has excellent transport links with neighbouring towns such as Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield, Watford and Welwyn Garden City. There is easy access to parking if travelling by car.
